06/03/2025 The call for IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships is now open until midnight CET on 9 May 2025
For more than five decades, IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships have contributed to the development of human resources for cancer research and cancer control worldwide, through the training of early career scientists in areas of the Agency’s expertise.
The current call of IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships are targeting early career scientists from low- and middle-income countries only (LMICs).
Fellowships are for a period of two years and are tenable at IARC. Fellows from LMICs can apply for a return grant, supporting the establishment of their research activity upon return to their home country, after completion of their stay at IARC.
The call is currently open on a biennial basis.
An IARC Fellowship – why not you?!
Results will be communicated after the pre-selection stage in July 2025. Only pre-selected applicants will advance to the interview stage of the selection process (online interviews will be conducted by the end of August/early September 2025). Awardees will be notified by October 2025.
